Tonight my wife and I are going to be going to our first Tenacious D concert! It just so happened to coincide with Valentine's Day but that just makes it that much better. The show starts at 8:00pm so I'm going to try to leave work by 3:00pm or 3:30pm so I can take her out to eat first. Then we should still have enough time to get there a little early. w00t! If you have never heard of the D before or it's been a while since you've last heard them here's a quick synapsis: The band is a two man act starring Jack Black (lead vocals) and Kyle Gass (lead guitar). They are basically an homage to old school heavy metal (see their song Dio for an example). All of their songs are infused with an arrogant self-worshiping (albeit satirical) air.
